'You're a saesang': BTS' J-Hope's Paris outing sparks criticism as fans break ARMY code
BTS fans are miffed with those who showed up outside J-Hope's hotel in Paris. Fans believe that it's a breach of code of conduct that fans have self-designed to respect privacy of the members. J-Hope was seen signing albums and interacting with fans during his recent Paris outing.
BTS' J-Hope has arrived in Paris for his January 23 performance for the Le Gala des Pieces Jaunes at La Defense Arena. Ahead of his eagerly awaited gig at the charity event, the rapper was seen out and about in the city, interacting with fans. Being the sweetheart that he is, J-Hope, who is also known as Hobi, was seen happily signing albums for fans and acknowledging their support. However, few fans' behavior in Paris has now drawn flak from the BTS fandom ARMY online.
J-Hope's recent Paris outing sparks criticism
BTS J-Hope's interaction with fans in Paris has got everyone talking, and opinions are divided. While fans are praising Hobi's kindness and dedication, they are slamming those who showed up outside his hotel to get their albums signed, reasoning it breaches ARMY code.
For those who may not be aware, BTS fandom ARMY has a set number of rules that fans are not supposed to violate, and showing up outside members' hotels is considered disrespecting their privacy and invading their personal space among the fandom.
One fan wrote, "Would I love having an album signed by Hobi? yes. Would I compromise his privacy & crowd his hotel for it? no. never. It's basic etiquette... Why do people keep doing this?!"

"If you see Hobi in videos just outside his hotel, on his way to wherever, anything that is not a public event, etc., DO NOT HYPE THE ONES POSTING THEM! These videos have been taken by stalkers and paparazzi, and those people are not who we support, not now, not ever!" a third added.

Some will never learn. Wait for Hobi to post on his social media.? pic.twitter.com/4XogFe0ubJ
"Didn¡¯t we as a fandom agree to stop sharing sasaeng/paparazzi pics? So why is my tl flooded with pics of Hobi outside his hotel? Hobi always share pics from the events he attends. Is it really that hard to respect his privacy and just wait for his post?" another fan reacted strongly.
