Since 2021, Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs) have become one of the most buzzing words in the crazy crypto world.
From Indian celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan and Rohit Sharma, Italian auto giant Ferrari, to global food and beverage giant Pepsi, the NFT fever gripped various companies and personalities globally in 2021.
And the NFT craze is showing no signs of slowing down in 2022 as well, at least as per the recent developments in this space last week.

1. A.R. Rahman's Entry Into NFT World
Last week, the HBAR Foundation announced a partnership with Indian legendary composer, producer and musician A.R. Rahman for the creation of content for a new NFT music platform. It will provide grants and organizational support for the development and growth of the NFT platform, which is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2022. The platform will also be focused on India's independent music community.

2. Australian Open Announcing NFTs
The Australian Open has become the first-ever Tennis Grand Slam Championship to launch its own NFTs as well as a series of events on the Metaverse. Its Official Twitter Account had confirmed the same.

The Grand Slam was recently also in headlines due to controversy surrounding the defending champion Novak Djokovic being allowed to compete despite being unvaccinated. However, he was later denied the same.
3. Bruce Lee's NFT Entry
The great film star and martial artist Bruce Lee's estate too, has jumped onto the NFT bandwagon. Just a couple of days back, the Bruce Lee Family Company and the NFT protocol Ethernity launched Lee's first NFT collection. This compilation aims to commemorate the life and legacy of the martial arts pioneer, philosopher, and global action film star. Certainly, this would be an interesting and exciting step to look forward to for Lee¡¯s global fans!

4. Samsung NFT TV Launch
Another company to join the NFT craze is the South Korea-based television maker giant Samsung. It recently announced that its upcoming TV sets would support NFT trading, beginning with its 2022 TV lineup.
5. NFT Launch of IIT Bombay¡®s E-Cell
While launching its own NFT on January 6th, 2022, the prestigious IIT Bombay¡¯s E-Cell stated that it is imperative for student bodies to enter the world of crypto to spread awareness among the youth, especially with the skyrocketing interest in blockchains, digital art, and NFTs. According to the E-Cell, they are the first student-run body to launch an NFT of their own!
