After months of celebrations, the D-day is here! Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant are all set to tie the knot today. The wedding ceremony will be followed by a Shubh Ashirwad on July 13 and the Mangal Utsav on July 14.
With back to back functions and a bevy of guests flocking the venue to be a part of the Ambani family¡¯s grand celebration, several companies in Mumbai¡¯s Bandra Kurla Complex have asked their employees to work remotely from July 12-15. This comes in the light of traffic restrictions that have been put in the area for the wedding.

From July 12 to July 15, roads surrounding the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC, owned by billionaire Mukesh Ambani's Reliance group, will be accessible only to "event vehicles" from 1 PM to midnight.
The broad traffic restrictions have caused anger among locals and on social media. Police have classified the celebration as a "public event" because of the attendance of notable international and Indian celebrities.
Hotel room rates in BKC have surged to as much as ?91,000 per night for this weekend. Most five star hotels in the area are ¡®sold out¡¯ during these dates.
The lavish Indian wedding marks the culmination of months of extravagant pre-wedding festivities in India and abroad. Mukesh and Nita Ambani hosted two grand galas¡ªone in Jamnagar, Gujarat, in March and another on a luxury cruise in Europe.

For the wedding, international guests have started arriving. The Mumbai airport saw a frenzy with the arrival of Hollywood socialites Kim Kardashian and her sister Khloe Kardashian, former UK Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and Tony Blair and executive chairman of Samsung Jay Y Lee among others.

On those dates, vehicular traffic will be prohibited on Kurla MTNL Road from Laxmi Tower Junction through Dhirubai Ambani Square Avenue Lane-3, Indian Oil Petrol Pump, and Diamond Junction to Hotel Trident. Vehicles from One BKC should turn left at Laxmi Tower Junction, go to Diamond Gate No. 8, then turn right at NABARD Junction, and proceed towards BKC via Dhirubai Ambani Square and the Indian Oil Petrol Pump.
Vehicles approaching from Kurla, MTNL Junction, Platina Junction, and Diamond Junction will not be allowed entry at Dhirubai Ambani Square Avenue/Indian Oil Petrol Pump toward the BKC connector bridge. These vehicles should turn left at NABARD Junction, go through Diamond Gate No. 8, turn right at Laxmi Tower Junction, and continue to BKC.
