Bike-borne criminals in Alwar have reportedly looted Rs 78 lakh cash and gold worth Rs 26 lakh in less than 30 minutes. The robbers are said to have planned their crime meticulously and escaped within a short span of time from the Axis Bank branch situated at Riico road of Bhiwadi (Rajasthan), as per a Times Now report.
To carry out the bank robbery, the six thieves reportedly came on three motorcycles and quickly turned all the bank employees into hostages. They were armed with guns and at around 10 AM, when the bank was being opened, they barged into the premises wearing masks. After they took all the bank employees hostage, they took the keys of the locker room.

According to a report in Dainik Bhaskar, the robbers had brought bags with them and they quickly stuffed as many valuables and cash as they could in them before they fled the scene of the crime.
A police team reached the spot and are combing through the CCTV footage of the bank in order to get leads into the crime. Moreover, the path taken by the criminals has been identified and police teams have been mobilised for a manhunt.
¡°The Axis bank branch located at the Rico Chowk, Bhiwadi was robbed,¡± said Shantanu Kumar, Bhiwadi Superintendent of Police (SP), adding that the six miscreants had come on three bikes. They made the bank employees as hostages, as per an India.com report.
It is learned that the police teams are also trying to identify the crooks based on the footage where the make of their bikes and also their body structure can be made out. The crime was done in a manner that almost seems to be picked out of a movie and the entire locality is stunned by the daring robbery that was carried out early in the morning.
The bank personnel told the police that the branch opened at around 10 a.m. The robbers had their faces covered with masks and had weapons in their hands. Soon after entering the bank, the robbers rounded up the employees and forcibly took the keys to the locker.

SP Shantanu Kumar and other police officers were on the spot at the time of filing the report.
Roads have been barricaded to catch the robbers and CCTV footage is being collected from the bank. An identification exercise is being carried out on the basis of bike and appearance, said the SP, adding that information has also been received about the route the robbers took. Police teams are making a thorough probe in the right direction, he added.
