As per Forbes, Bernard Arnault, who is the Chairman and CEO of luxury goods giant LVMH, which includes brands like Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior, is now the richest person in the world, overtaking Tesla CEO Elon Musk. According to Forbes real time billionaires list, Bernard Arnault and his family's net worth stands at $207.8 billion, whereas Elon Musk's net worth stands at $204.5 billion.
France's Arnault is also the only non American in the list of world's 10 richest people currently. The market cap of Arnault's LVMH is currently $397 billion, compared to Tesla¡¯s $574 billion market cap.

Bernard Arnault was born on March 5, 1949, into an industrial family in Roubaix, France. He attended the Roubaix lyc¨¦e as well as the Faidherbe lyc¨¦e in Lille. He continued his studies at the Ecole polytechnique after that.
