He Was Once Fired From His Company Apple!
Way back in 1983 when Apple was in its initial struggling days, Steve Jobs was convincing John Sculley to join Apple. Sculley was back then a successful businessman who had helped Pepsi turn losses into profits in just a few years.
Although Jobs did convince him to get onboard after telling him the iconic line ¡°do you want to sell sugar water for the rest of your life or do you want to come with me change the world?¡±, the next 2 years were full of rifts between Jobs and Sculley (who also served as Apple¡¯s CEO from 1983-1993), and Apple¡¯s board too decided to take Sculley¡¯s side, which meant forcing out Jobs in the year 1985. However, Jobs did return to Apple as CEO in 1997.

He ¡®Almost¡¯ Became a Buddhist Monk
Bob Dylan and the Beatles were Steve Jobs¡¯ two favourite musical acts, and he shared their political leanings, anti-establishment views and, reportedly, youthful experimentation with psychedelic drug usage.
Even the name of Apple is said to be inspired by the Beatles' Apple Corps, which repeatedly sued the electronics maker for trademark infringement until signing an exclusive digital distribution deal with iTunes later.
And just like the Beatles, Steve Jobs too went down the spiritual road and visited India in 1974, when he was barely 20 years old.
It was Jobs¡¯ traversing India that sparked his conversion to Buddhism. During Jobs¡¯ wedding to Laurene Powell in 1991, a Zen Buddhist Monk named Kobun Chino Otogawa presided over the wedding. And even afterwards, it's believed that Jobs¡¯ interest in Buddhism stayed with him forever.
