BluePine Foods, which started as a small, bootstrapped company with Rs 5 lakh in the year 2016,went on to feature on Shark Tank India season 1. In December 2021, Aditi Madan had pitched at Shark Tank India and had won Rs 75 lakh in funding from investor sharks ¨C Ashneer Grover, Vinita Singh, and Aman Gupta, for 18% of the company¡¯s equity.
¡°I always wanted to remain bootstrapped, but realised that in the digital era, to be on my toes and hustle all the time, I need the right mentors and advisors to help. Shark Tank India turned out to be a perfect fit,¡± she had said after securing Shark Tank India's first ever deal, as per Yourstory report.
BlueOune Foods' momo brand Yangkiez has stores in many locations, including NIT Faridabad, Gk1, Vasant Kunj and DLF PHASE 4.
How She Came Up With Her Startup Idea
It all started when Aditi Madan moved to Delhi from Darjeeling and used to crave for authentic momos, soup noodles, and thupkas. From the beginning, her idea was evident. She began investigating and testing frozen momos without preservatives that had a six-month shelf life because convenient food was becoming more and more necessary.

Yangkiez's 'Momo Mami' Aditi Is Also A Former MasterChef Contestant
In May 2016, BluePine Foods was officially registered to manufacture frozen and easily portable foods, such as momos, under the Yangkiez brand (which is Aditi's maiden family name). Naveen Panwar and Rohan Singh are her co-founders.
Aditi's "basic strength"¡ªmomos and spring rolls¡ªwas where it all began. Aditi gained the affectionate nickname "momo mami" from everyone in the industry along the way.
¡°I could see people attracted to this kind of food in Delhi, but was not sure of the authenticity and the hygiene. My aim was to make people experience the ¡°real¡± food of the Himalayan region. This became stronger after I left MasterChef India Season 3 as one of the top six contestants in 2013,¡± Aditi had said.
Her MasterChef experience, she believes, helped in ¡°understanding the deeper connection between food and emotions of people from all walks of life.¡±
