Tech billionaire Elon Musk's Christmas post indicates that he prefers taking Mounjaro over Ozempic for weight loss. The Tesla owner has earlier also expressed his support for similar weight-loss drugs as a way to battle the obesity epidemic in America.
Elon Musk, the tech billionaire, never misses a chance to talk about his daily life on his social media platform, X (formerly called Twitter). The Tesla owner has earlier also expressed his support for similar weight-loss drugs as a way to battle the obesity epidemic in America.
Taking to X, the SpaceX owner shared an image of himself dressed up in a Santa Claus outfit and flowing white beard. In the picture, Musk is looking quite lean and captions it as 'Ozempic Santa,' noting it's 'Like Cocaine Bear, but Santa and Ozempic!'

Elon Musk hints at taking Mounjaro over Ozempic because of its side effects
Musk's post somehow indicated that he prefers Mounjaro over Ozempic because he feels it has fewer side effects than Ozempic. According to the New York Post, many Americans have been increasingly using GLP-1 drugs to reduce their weight.
Earlier, Musk noted that he prefers taking Mounjaro over Ozempic, as the high doses of Ozempic caused him side effects like "fart & burp."
Not only that, but Musk has been arguing for a long time about the widespread use of GLP-1 inhibitors to combat obesity. Moreover, he gained praise from President-elect Donald Trump, who said, "Mounjaro seems to have fewer side effects and be more effective."
Other personalities, like Whoopi Goldberg, also admitted to taking Mounjaro for weight loss.
