Guns, gore and action galore! Trailer for the new James Bond is out now and if you are an enthusiast of power-packed action movies, chances are Daniel Craig has left you on the edge of your seat yet again. With the world¡¯s first look at the next movie under James Bond moniker, the trailer of No Time To Die?has a scintillating appearance of an old friend of Agent 007, an Aston Martin DB5!
Depending on the earliest of James Bond movies you have seen, there is an increasing chance that you will have spotted the Aston Martin DB5 at some point or the other. In case you are not able to recall, know that the DB5 made its debut in the James Bond series back in 1964 with the Goldfinger. That was the start of a relationship that has now lasted for 55 years and looking at the latest trailer, is still going pretty strong!
In between, DB5 appearances in James Bond movies have always been a class apart. You might not remember the one featured in Thunderball (1965) that packed a rear facing water canon and a boot stowed jetpack. You might also not remember Pierce Brosnan¡¯s high speed chase in the DB5 with a Ferrari 355 in Goldeneye (1995).
But you¡¯ve got to recall Daniel Craig¡¯s debut appearance with the car in Casino Royale (2006), wherein the DB5 was featured alongside the Aston Martin DBS, making it the first James Bond movie to feature two Aston Martin cars. Then there was the DB5's sixth appearance in Skyfall (2012), wherein the car firmly stood by Bond¡¯s side till the end as the modern-age methods of the agency failed upon an attack by Raoul Silva.
That is enough nostalgia, as it is time we focus on the excitement associated with the car¡¯s return. It is back in ¡®No Time To Die¡¯ and how! The car is featured in a scene where Bond is surrounded by enemies shooting at the car. As expected, in no time you get to see the Bond action, all thanks to the modified DB5. Check out the sequence in the trailer below!
Apart from taking on the shower of bullets from all sides, the bulletproof DB5 switches its headlights into a couple of machine guns. Bond then manages to kill all the bad guys by doing a donut with the car at the spot.
What misses the eye though, is the split second in between which focuses on the control panel. Though Bond opts for the machine guns, the DB5 is ready with Fire, Flame, Oil and more to help its friend in need. Now that¡¯s what we call a true friend, right?!
