Tesla Cybertruck was showcased as a tough nut to crack at the time of its launch. Six months after the unveiling, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has now released more information on the electric pickup truck and it seems like the seemingly heavy vehicle has an ability to ¡®float¡¯ too.
The Tesla Cybertruck will "float for a while", Musk has mentioned in a recent tweet. For context, the tweet came as a response to a question by a twitter user about Cybertruck's water wading capacity.
Musk ensured that the Cybertruck will be able to cross streams and that it will temporarily even float while doing so. What the functionality means or how the function (if any) can be activated is yet unsure.
Elaborating on it, Musk mentioned that the air suspension on the Cybertruck will be an entirely new one. In another, more recent thread, Elon Musk tweeted that the Cybertruck will incorporate the same heat pump system as seen on the Model Y.
Just days before this update, Musk took to Twitter to highlight how the Cybertruck is shaping. In the thread, Musk mentioned that the Tesla team is working on increasing the dynamic air suspension travel on the Cybertruck for better off-roading with a need ¡°to kick butt in Baja.¡± For those unaware, Baja is a dangerous off-road race held in North America every year by Baja California.
Another bit of update received recently from the tech billionaire was that the Cybertruck will be available in many colours and patterns to the buyers. You can read all about it here.
It seems like Musk¡¯s quarantine period is dominantly being focused on the Cybertruck. In case the regular updates were not a hint enough, Musk did not hold back from showing his love for the EV. ¡°Aargh, I¡¯m dying to make Cybertruck like yesterday!!¡± he tweeted.
