We all have our own set of qualms with the government - broken roads, broken pipes, electricity issues, management issues etc, but how often do we get the desired solution?

The residents of Telangana were facing something similar. People in Hyderabad were tired and varied of asking the local government to make proper roads in the city, which were mostly broken and unmade. When they did not hear from them for a very long time, the residents took the matter into their own hands and did it themselves.?
Residents of Secunderabad's Marredpally spent nearly 4,000 Indian rupees to fill the potholes Sangeeth Crossroads.
Why, you ask?
Well, the residents initially kickstarted a silent protest where they urged Ivanka Trump to visit that area, on one of her visits, following which government would have repaired the roads. Unfortunately, neither Ivanka came, nor any action was?taken.?
There they named it after minister KT Rama Rao and US President Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump. Ms Trump was in Hyderabad last year to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit.?
"We spent Rs. 4,000 on concrete mix, granite stones, and water. We contributed the amount from our own pockets," Mr Krishnak told Times of India.?
