In another shocking incident, Bengali model-turned-actress Bidisha De Majumdar was found hanging in her rented Kolkata apartment on Wednesday. As per a TOI report, the 21-year-old had moved to the apartment around a month-and-a-half back. The report also says that she was having troubles in her relationship, as revealed by her family and friends.?
A close friend of the actress told TOI, ¡°She had a torrid relationship with her boyfriend, something which she discussed with her close friends. She was tense and depressed. We often tried to cheer her up and boosted her to look at the brighter side of life. She was doing well and getting assignments. But she could never get over her relationship issues."
As per TOI, police reached the apartment after they got a call from the late actress's friend. They had to break open the door and found the model-actress hanging. A complaint was lodged by Bidisha's parents at the?Nagerbazar police station and an unnatural death case has been filed. Her body has been sent to RG Kar Medical College and Hospital?for post-mortem.
Bidisha began her modelling career in 2019 as a freelancer. She originally hailed from Naihati, as per reports, and made her acting debut with?Anirbed Chattopadhyay's short film titled?Bhaar- The Clown. The short film starred actor?Debraj Mukherjee in a leading role.?

Even though she hailed from the neighbouring Alappuzha district, the model-actress had been staying in the rented apartment for some years. As per news reports, Sherin Celin Mathew was suffering from depression due to some personal differences with some of her friends. A police officer had revealed that a case has been registered for unnatural death and prima facia it was a suicide.?
