During an interview with News18 Anupam discussed his audition procedure for the compelling role. He disclosed that he had given an audition at the end of March 2023 and had heard back about his casting in a single day.?

Based on a true story - a tragic incident

The show recounts the terrifying experience that the passengers had when the Indian Airlines Airbus A300 was hijacked when it was on its way from Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, to New Delhi, India. Seven days later, on December 31, 1999, the crisis came to a conclusion when India released three terrorists.
