The NBC News Digital Docs unit is the producer of "A Marriage on Trial: Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, and Truth in the Age of Social Media."
The 30-minute documentary is described by NBC News, as "The Depp vs Heard defamation trial evoked two distinct reactions those who couldn't get enough and those who received more than they wanted."

The documentary includes interviews with Heard's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft, Ruth Glenn, CEO of the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Jamie Abrams, a law professor at American University and an expert on gender violence, Doha Madani, Kat Tenbarge, and Nigel Smith of People Magazine, among others.
The defamation case verdict in Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's high-profile court case will not be overturned, the repeal for a new trial was dismissed by a US judge stated in a written order.
