Khakee: The Bihar Chapter OTT Release Date: After the massive success of season 1, Netflix is bringing back its hit crime saga, this time with a new setting, a fresh story, and oh-so-good Bengali cast. Khakee: The Bengal Chapter is set to premiere on March 20, 2025, exclusively on Netflix, and fans are in for an intense, action-packed ride. Indiatimes has exclusively confirmed that the trailer of this series will be unveiled on 5th March 2025 in Kolkata.
Set in the early 2000s, Khakee: The Bihar Chapter takes viewers deep into a Bengal where crime and politics go hand in hand, and power isn¡¯t just fought for rather it¡¯s bled for. When the murder of a decorated cop shakes the city, IPS Arjun Maitra steps in, determined to dismantle the corrupt empire that thrives in the shadows. But in a world where alliances shift overnight, will he be able to survive long enough to deliver justice?
This time, the stakes are even higher, and leading the charge are two titans of Bengali cinema, Jeet Madnani and Prosenjit Chatterjee. Produced by Friday Storytellers and helmed by Neeraj Pandey, with Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray directing, the series also stars Saswata Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Ritwik Bhowmik, Chitrangada Singh, Aadil Zafar Khan, Pooja Chopra, Aakanksha Singh, Mimoh Chakraborty, and Shraddha Das.
Jeet in a media statement said, ¡°For years, people have been asking, 'Boss aur Bumba Da ek saath kab aa rahein hain?' (When are Boss and Bumba Da coming together?) Well, here we are! What makes it even more special is that this marks my debut on Netflix. This project challenged me in new ways, allowing me to grow as an actor, and I can¡¯t wait for everyone to experience it."
Prosenjit Chatterjee, an undisputed legend of Bengali cinema, echoed similar excitement and added, ¡°Joining forces with Jeet and the entire cast for a story as compelling as this felt like the perfect alignment.
