The second episode of Koffee With Karan season 8 has finally dropped and it was a heartwarming one.

The guests Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol are one of the most famous sibling duos in the film industry but are seldom seen in the public eye. This episode turned out to be quite an eye opener for the fans. As macho as this brother duo looks, they are softies at heart.?

1. Sunny Deol Spoke About Being ‘Hurt’ By Gadar 2’s Clash With OMG 2

When KJo asked about the clash between the two big movies, Sunny said, "Obviously, one wanted the film to be a hit and I had an idea that the film would do well but how well I had no idea. The original Gadar became a massive hit instantly. Everyone that time also there were shows (referring to Akshay Kumar's OMG 2 which was released on the same day as Gadar 2) around the clock. I had no idea what the hell was happening but that's what I was hearing because back then, we used to just leave to shoot the next film."

He continued further, “I asked him. I said, ‘Please don’t do it if it’s in your hands’. But he said, ‘No, the studio and all…'”.

Sunny then said that he was told ‘two films can release’ simultaneously at the box office without affecting each other. “I said, ‘Okay, go ahead, I can just request, I can’t do anything more than that’.”?

He further added, "There were no promotions for films. But this time, because I started off nearly two months before when we released part one of it I started feeling the buzz from the people, from the audience, the way they were coming and interacting, and how happy they were. I just felt so much love that I remember on the 10th of August when I was coming home, I remember Bobby being there, Papa being there, I was just laughing and crying as if something was happening within me."??

Bobby said, "I loved the film. Everyone was so good, Ranveer Singh. He did an awesome job. I'm a big fan of Alia Bhatt. She was also amazing. And then you (to KJo) chose dad and I'm not saying because he is my father but he was magical as that character. We joke about it that papa kissed on screen and all that. Everyone said that he was so cute."

Sunny said, "I said my dad can do whatever he likes and he gets away with it."

KJo’s surprise segment consisted of Sunny Deol’s sons Karan Deol and Rajveer Deol Dharmendra, and Bobby Deol’s son Aaryaman Deol's messages.?

Karan and Rajveer described their dad in three words - "’Emotional, loving, headstrong’ and ‘extremely caring, tough, never give up kind of attitude’".

Aaryaman described Bobby in three words as well - "loving, encouraging, and understanding."?

Watching Dharmendra onscreen is always heart melting and this time around, he had the sweetest things to say for his sons.

He said, “Har bacha kaise bhi ho, baap ke saamne bheegi billi bann jata hai aur baap se dur hote hi sher ban jata hai. Sunny ke andar ek bachha hai jo samajhdaar hogaya hai aur usse samajhdaar hona chahiye."

"Bobby sabse ladla hai, hamesha chota bachha jo hai usko zyada hi pyaar karte hain. Par Bobby kehte hain ki aap Sunny se zyada pyaar karte hain mujhse nahi", the veteran actor continued.

He concluded the message by saying, "I am proud of you, my sons."?

This message made both Sunny and Bobby really emotional and they both could be seen shedding tears.

Post this, Sunny could be seen smiling in an ‘you caught me’ way! He then disclosed that he picks up teddy bears which are cute and unique. He even has a pocket sized one that he keeps it on himself sometimes. When asked why such a fixation with Teddy Bears, Sunny said it’s comforting to cuddle with them. Isn’t this just lovely?

The Deol brothers also spoke about Esha Deol and Ahana Deol and said that they will always be their sisters and they love each other very much.?

I used to keep cursing and saying, why don’t people take me? I am good, why don’t they want to work with me? I think I became so negative about everything, that there was no positivity coming from me. I used to sit at home, my wife worked.”
