RRKPK has already released on Amazon Prime Video without making a lot of noise. Initially, it was a rental where Prime members had to shell out a little extra to watch this romantic drama.?The film can now be streamed on Prime Video for members at no extra charge. The best thing about the OTT release is that it includes 10 mins extra which had to be edited out from the theatrical release due to run-time constraints.
The final runtime of the film now is 2 hours 58 minutes. Made of a budget of Rs 160 crore, RRKPK is still running successfully in theatres and has raked in almost Rs 345 crore worldwide which makes it the sixth-highest grossing Indian film.
The film also marked the return of Karan Johar as a director after his 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and the second film of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh after Gully Boy.
What is Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani About?
It is a love story of Rani Chatterjee (Alia Bhatt) and Rocky Randhawa (Ranveer Singh) with a twist. The couple falls in love with each other while trying to revive their grandparents' relationship. However, their respective family's approval to get married to each other is an impossible task. The couple takes it upon itself to get a green flag from both the families so that they can finally tie the knot with each other.
