The Indian Tamil-language film Saala is all set to be released on OTT. The film got released in theatres last month and is now all ready to impress the OTT audience. Plot?

Saala is an action-packed movie that revolves around a power struggle over the reopening of a famous ‘Parvathy Bar’ in Royapuram. The plot is all about two rival factions against each other and a passionate anti-alcohol social activist.

According to the makers, in the film, the socially conscious school teacher is after shutting down a bar for good, which adds a third dimension to the conflict in the story. The triangular fight between the two gangs and the activist sets the stage for a thrilling narrative that is full of twists and turns.

Cast and crew

Saala has been directed by S.D. Manipaul. The star cast of the film includes actors like Dheeran, Shree Natraj, Reshma Venkatesh, Arul Dass, Charles, Vinoth, Sampath Ram, and Srinath. The cinematography for the film has been done by Ravindranath Guru, and editing has been done by Bhuvan.

Speaking about the film in an interview earlier this year, Manipaul said, "The setting of the famous Parvathi Bar in Royapuram, which has been shut down for 20 years due to gang wars."?
