Plot
As per the official logline, some crimes seem oddly personal to Detective Lois Tryon, as though someone or something is making fun of her. Lois battles her own personal problems, a husband who requires long-term hospital care, and a troubled connection with her daughter at home. She accepts the assistance of Sister Megan, a nun and journalist for the Catholic Guardian. Despite having experienced a traumatic past herself, Sister Megan has faith in humanity's ability to do good deeds.
