Sima Taparia has a reputation for speaking her heart out, and the second season of Indian Matchmaking could not have been popular without its fair share of controversies. Meme makers have loved the show because they can create memes out of everything that Sima says. The matchmaker recently commented on the pairing of Nick and Priyanka and stated that it wasn't an ideal match.
Sima aunty is back in the news for voicing her favourite Bollywood couple after rejecting Nick and Priyanka's pairing.?She?responded, "Call me old but I think Hema Malini and Dharmendra are perfect and among the youngsters, it's Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli," when asked about her ideal Bollywood couple in an interview with GoodTimes.
In 2017, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were wed in a private ceremony; they now have a daughter. Even though Dharmendra was already married and had kids with his first wife Prakash Kaur, Hema Malini and Dharmendra wed in 1980.
Nadia told Sima Taparia that she liked Vishal, but the matchmaker questioned the age difference because he was seven years younger than her and suggested that it might not be a good match for her.?
When Nadia jokingly questioned Sima about the age difference between Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, Sima responded, "But I don't feel it's a good match, sorry to tell them." They did marry even though they were never a good match.
She is, however, acting hypocritically because her favourite Bollywood couple just so happens to be Hema Malini and Dharmendra, despite the fact that Hema is 13 years younger than Dharmendra. Additionally, she tagged Nick and Priyanka as ¡®mismatched¡¯? by pointing out that Priyanka is 11 years older than Nick.?
Let's be clear: Sima seems to be okay with the woman being younger even if the age difference exceeds 10 years, but she would not like a couple where the woman is older than her husband. She thinks that there will inevitably be conflicts because of the maturity level.
Indian Matchmaking Season 1 and 2 are currently streaming on Netflix.
