Plot?
The Red Virgin is set in 1930s Madrid and revolves around a determined mother and her daughter. The story progresses when the daughter turns 16 and the mother takes her to a publishing house where the daughter gets into writing about women＊s sexuality.
The girl＊s intelligence impresses the staff at the publishing house, but past life also starts to unravel when she delivers a powerful, crowd-winning speech at an event.
Amid this newfound attention, the girl develops romantic feelings for a young man, and the two confess their love. Overhearing their conversation, the mother devises a plan to separate them, setting the stage for an emotional and dramatic confrontation.
