The announcement of pregnancy by several prominent Malayalam film actresses, including Nithya Menen, Parvathy Thiruvothu, and Padmapriya, in the previous week, astonished many internet users because it was a unique marketing strategy for their upcoming movie "Wonder Women."
Anjali Menon, who is well known for the critically acclaimed movies Bangalore Days and Koode, is the director of the film Wonder Women.?Her name is on the director's credit for the English-language movie "Wonder Women," which will soon be available to the public via a direct-to-digital release.
The director confirmed that it is not a shooting announcement and that the movie is already ready for distribution in a video clip that the streamer posted. She said,? "No more news of pregnancy. I think you have had plenty of that in the past couple of days from our actors who are playing their characters and announcing their good news. Yes, the promos were an idea that was also a social experiment to understand how everyone reacts to the news of pregnancy. We were blown away by the love and warmth that came our way. She further added, "Yes, we have our new film ready. It¡¯s called Wonder Women. Presented by RSVP Movies and Flying Unicorn Entertainment. It is a direct OTT film and it is coming to you on SonyLIV very soon. So, yeah, it is not a shooting announcement, it is a release announcement.¡±
For those of you concerned about the language of the film, the filmmaker confirmed that the film is made in English, speaking of which Anjali said,? "We are eager to understand how people feel about that and about the content that¡¯s been discussed. This for us has been an opportunity to bring together thoughts that are not often on screen but deserve to be. So, really looking forward to your feedback. From us to you, Wonder Women, with lots of love."
In the movie, the key characters are played by Nadiya Moidu, Nithya Menen, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Padmapriya, Amruta Subhash, Sayanora Philip, and Archana Padmini.
If we talk about the characters,?Nithya will be portraying Nora, who is ecstatic to be expecting a child. On the other side, Padmapriya plays Pappu, a pregnant woman from a strict family. Mini, who is being portrayed by Parvathy, doesn't appear overjoyed about being pregnant because she will have to raise the child by herself. It is implied that all the women will come together in a programme specifically for expectant mothers.
