Elvish Yadav Says 'I Love U' As Alia Bhatt Fangirls Over 'Systum'; Fans Say 'What A Downfall'

Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 recently concluded with YouTuber Elvish Yadav emerging as the winner. Pooja Bhatt, sister of actress Alia Bhatt was also a part of this show emerging as one of the finalists. Alia while promoting her recent release RRPK appreciated Elvish as one of her favourite contestants in the house.

It was on 16th August that Alia fell into a trap of trolls while appreciating Elvish in one of her Q&A.

One user asked her, “Elvish Yadav ke bare mein kuchh ho jaye" (Share something about Elvish Yadav). Alia in her response shared, “Systummm (five red heart emojis)." If you are living under a rock, this is a term popularised by Elvish in order to criticise India’s political landscape. It found its way as slang later.

For the unversed, Elvish reciprocated equally to Alia's appreciation and wrote, 'I love U' in return.

Alia fangirling over the YouTuber just didn’t go down well with Twitteratis and they slammed the actress.

One user wrote, “Aisi bhi kya majburi thi.” Another said, “Definitely, Pooja Bhatt is replying.” “Anything to gain popularity”, the third said. Fourth commented, “Something is really wrong with her lately.” Fifth added, “Rocky aur rani, the heart of Stone release hogai ab kuch kaam nai hai talented actor ke paas.”

Earlier in Chandigarh, while speaking to the media Alia addressed Elvish Yadav’s ‘Rocky personality’ and said, “Elvish mujhe bohot naughty lagte hai. Unka jaisa woh andaaz hai, jaise woh bolta hai (Elvish seems very naughty to me. The way he carries himself and speaks is very entertaining. He’s very funny. I really like him)."

Alia further complimented her sister as well and added, “But I have to take my sister’s name kyuki vo to humari ghar parivar ki Rani hai. The way she is (But I have to take my sister (Pooja Bhatt)’s name because she is the queen of our family. The way she is)." Other than these, BB OTT 2 featured Abhishek Malhan, Manisha Rani and Bebika Dhurve.

For quite some time now, Elvish has been the target of trolls for not visiting fellow contestant Abhishek in hospital.

Reacting to the same, Yadav released a video and said in Hindi, “Many rumours are spreading on the internet. While some are hating on Abhishek, others are hating on me on the internet. People think we are no longer like brothers but it is false. Also, many people pointed out that everyone went to the hospital to meet Abhishek and only I didn’t.”

“I’m locked in a hotel room for some days due to security reasons. I’m just trying to follow the protocols of Bigg Boss. I’ve been talking to Abhishek over the phone and we are going to meet directly in Delhi.”
