Consisting of four short segments,?Ajeeb Daastaans?explores themes like dysfunctional love, prejudice, loneliness and revenge. While there are two extremely great stories in this, there are other two which most people weren't impressed with.

In Taapsee Pannu-starrer Rashmi Rocket, Rashmi is a National-level player who is forced to take a gender test because people have tagged her as "mardana" and someone who is "not conventionally feminine". In this humiliating archaic practice of gender test, she is told, "aap apne sare kapde utar lijiye". What follows is a ban and then a case. In the midst of mudslinging, she is left heartbroken.?The film will remind you of Dutee Chand's real-life story.
Nail Polish is an intriguing crime-legal thriller that explores the uncertainty of human mind. Starring Arjun Rampal, Manav Kaul, Anand Tiwari and Rajit Kapur, the film manages to sustain its twists and turns.
