Swara Bhasker, Prakash Raj & More Celebs Condemn UP Teacher Asking Class To Slap Muslim Student

Where the country is dealing with enough communal tensions, one more incident has come to the forefront. In a shocking incident coming from Neha Public School of UP’s Muzaffarnagar, a teacher named Tripta Tyagi is seen encouraging young kids to slap a ‘Mohammedan’ classmate.

When one student couldn’t hit the boy hard enough, Tyagi called another student who could thrash him red and blue.

The young boy cries inconsolably in the viral video as a venomous mind operates a shameful activity. This heart-wrenching incident has outraged the country and has made the internet demand justice for the kid. Debates around instilling such communal hatred among young kids are also taking place.

Condemning the act, several celebrities have now echoed similar sentiments and have demanded rightful action.

Actress Swara Bhasker took to Twitter and wrote, “Dear ‘shocked’ fellow Hindu, If you have voted for BJP, tried to be ‘objective’ or ‘neutral’ in the face of rank bigotry and hate, claimed to see ‘both sides’, remained silent in the face of all that has happened in the last decade. Then take your shock and stuff it up some place in the rear. You don’t get to virtue signal today!”

Renuka Shahane on the other hand wrote, “That vile teacher should be behind bars! Instead, she might just get a national teacher's award for promoting national integration! Kafkaesque!! Cry, my beloved country.” South star Prakash Raj on the other hand shared a picture and wrote, “The darkest side of HUMANITY we are getting into.. aren't you worried”.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted, “Sowing the poison of discrimination in the minds of innocent children, turning a holy place like school into a marketplace of hatred – nothing worse a teacher can do for the country. This is the same kerosene spread by the BJP which has set every corner of India on fire. Children are the future of India - do not hate them, we all have to teach love together.”

Unfortunately, the young victim’s father didn’t choose to file a complaint but made his son change the school.

Fact-Checker Md Zohair took to Twitter and shared, “Altamash's father Irshad gave it in writing to @muzafarnagarpol police that he doesn't want to file a police complaint against the teacher. He decided to remove his kid from this school by taking back the fee which he had paid.”

Muzzaffarnagar Police on the other hand has taken the incident in cognizance and charged the teacher under relevant sections.
