8 years after his last film Katti Batti, Imran Khan has come back into the limelight and fans are more than excited. The actor has announced his comeback to movies and his fans are eagerly waiting for the same. Not just this, Imran Khan has also reportedly found love again after divorcing with first wife.
Imran was earlier married to his childhood sweetheart Avantika Malik. The duo got married in 2011 and parted ways in 2019. They even have a daughter together. Where reports of Malik moving ahead in life with another man surfaced earlier, Imran has also started seeing actress Lekha Washington.
The duo were first spotted together walking hand-in-hand in 2021 at Kriti KharbandaĄ¯s birthday party. This year again on the same occasion, the duo were seen seemingly confirming that they are seeing each other. Where Imran sported a blue T-shirt and white pants, Lekha donned a beautiful white floral-printed outfit.
Lekha has predominantly worked in Tamil and Telugu film industry. Besides acting, she is also an artist and product designer. A theatre artist in Chennai-based stage plays, LekhaĄ¯s breakthrough performance was playing the character of Brinda Sekhar in Jayamkondaan (2008).
For that role, Lekha even won a nomination at the Vijay Awards. She also runs a product design company called Ajji and recently launched her first range of products in MumbaiĄ¯s Pallate store. The actress also featured in one of the analysis and interview sequences during the maiden season of the Indian Premier League.
Back in August this year, Imran took to Threads and wrote, Ą°To whom it may concern; I hear you. And I'm working on it. Imran, who is actor Aamir KhanĄ¯s cousin, recently spoke about it at an event and shared, Ą°I donĄ¯t have a clear answer, but I am reading scripts and having creative conversations with filmmakers.
