This purchase comes as a positive change for the Khan family amid the Bishnoi gang's ever-emerging threats to Salman Khan.?

Salim Khan buys a new car

Salim Khan, renowned writer and father of Salman Khan, has purchased a sleek white Mercedes Benz GLS, valued at ?1.57 crores. A video circulating on social media shows a priest performing a puja ceremony for the new vehicle. A garland also adorned the car while a red bow was placed on its bonnet. While reports have suggested that Salim Khan has bought the car, neither the director nor any of his family members were seen sitting inside it. However, it was later spotted being driven around Salman Khan's galaxy residence.?

Fresh threat to Salman Khan?

On Wednesday, Salman Khan received a fresh death threat from an unknown person who demanded a Rs 2 crore ransom from the Bollywood actor. A message, sent to Mumbai Traffic Police, said the actor would be killed if the money was not sent on a priority basis.?

Following the threat, police in Mumbai’s Worli district registered a case against an unknown person, launching a fresh probe into the matter. The Dabangg actor has been subjected to multiple death threats following the death of his close friend and NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was shot earlier this month in Mumbai. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for his death, citing his close ties with Salman as the motive behind their move.?

Earlier on Tuesday, Salman as well as late Baba Siddique’s son Zeeshan Siddique had received death threats. A 20-year-old man from Noida in Uttar Pradesh was later arrested by the local police for sending a threatening message to Khan and Siddique.?

Salim Khan had earlier dismissed any connection between Salman Khan and the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique. In an interview with ABP News, the veteran shared his family's perspective on the fresh death threats issued to Salman Khan. He said that even if Lawrence Bishnoi's gang is involved in Siddique's murder, it stemmed from a different issue, specifically a property dispute, highlighting it had nothing to do with his friendship with Salman.?
