Shocked By Shravan Rathod’s Death, Udit Narayan Remembers He Had Called Him From Kumbh Mela

Shravan Rathod’s death who was fighting with COVID 19 has left theindustry deeply saddened.?

The loss is significant and many are still in disbeliefand one of them is Udit Narayan. The legendary singer in a conversation withTOI expressed his grief over the late composer’s death and revealed his lastconversation with him.

He said, “Shravan bhai had gone to the Kumbh Mela recently and had calledme from there saying, ‘I have come to the Kumbh Mela for the holy bath.’ I toldhim that he should’ve told me about this earlier and that I could have alsogone with him.?

But after he got off the phone, I thought to myself that duringthe pandemic, why did he go there? He already had health issues, yet he wentthere. He did not listen to others and went there, and now he is no longer withus. May his soul rest in peace.”

Shravan Rathod’s son Sanjeev in a conversation with Indian Express had revealedhis entire family tested COVID 19 positive after his father and mother wereback from Kumbh Mela, “We had never thought our family would have to go throughsuch tough times, my father passed away, I am Covid positive and so is mymother. My brother is also positive and is in home isolation, but since ourfather has died, he is being allowed to do the final procedures to do lastrites for our father”.
