Actress Sonam Kapoor recently walked the runway at the Blenders Pride X FDCI Fashion Tour 2025 in Gurgaon, to pay tribute to the late fashion designer and close friend Rohit Bal, who died on November 1, 2024, at the age of 63 owing to heart problems. As she went, she grew upset recalling him and burst into tears.?
However, she was cruelly mocked by netizens, who accused her of "overacting" and pointed out that there were no "tears" on her face. The actress wore a white ethnic costume with a lavishly adorned ivory jacket from Rohit Bal's line. Her hair was fashioned in a neat bun and accented with roses.
Immediately following Sonam's "emotional" arrival on the ramp went viral. Netizens were quick to point out the dramatic ramp walk. Social media users claimed her emotional outburst was evidently fake and overdramatic.?
