This Independence Day long weekend is no less than a festival in itself. People are making plans to spend quality time with their friends and family and Bollywood has taken a serious note of it. In theatres for people to enjoy, we have films like OMG 2, Gadar 2, Jailer and Bhola Shankar.
While we have already told you how fans have reviewed Gadar 2 and Jailer, this one¡¯s for the controversial social drama - Oh My God 2. Based on the subject of sex education, this film stars Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead alongside Yami Gautam, Pavan Malhotra, Govind Namdev, Arun Govil and Brijendra Kala.
Yami Gautam herself spoke about it and told Indian Express, ¡°It was a bit disheartening. We didn¡¯t see this coming, the way it happened. It is understandable that even they have a lot of responsibility and they have to balance it. Even in the Middle East, they have 12+ certifications, which I feel is very appropriate.¡±
Yami shared that it was never their intention to hurt people¡¯s sentiments. She added, ¡°Hopefully this film will be the starting point. This film will start a conversation, and once it gains strength from positive word-of-mouth, people would know that there¡¯s nothing in the film that¡¯s (objectionable) and kids can watch it with their parents.¡±
He said during a media interaction, "When we got an A certificate, we got surprised. This is because while making a film, we know whether or not a film will get an A certificate. Iss film ko A milna, surprise tha humare liye. Thoda malaal hua ki jis age-group ko yeh film dekhni chaiye, 12-17 saal ke, woh nahi dekh payenge."

The Gangs of Wasseypur actor added, "I think we should have something between U/A and A category. Just like Censor has brought Cinematograph (Amendment) Bill into the act. Hopefully, they also bring a few changes in Censor certification. Afsoos yehi hai ki jinko dekhni chaiye film, woh nahi dekh payenge."
