Rohit Saraf who made his debut with Dear Zindagi in2016 has been struggling for 8 years and is finally getting his due recognition. He isconsidered as the National crush, all thanks to his charming looks. However, there's more to him than his looks and he is here to prove his mettle as an actor.
We asked Rohit how his journey has been so far to which hesaid, ¡°Everybody has their share of struggles, also I still haven¡¯t made it tothe industry, there is a long way to go. I started 8 years ago but what hashappened in these eight years wasn¡¯t easy at all. If it would have been, I wouldhave been doing the projects much earlier which I am doing now.¡±
Rohit feels struggle is good because what comeseasy, goes easy, ¡°There is a certain kind of struggle that is involved and Ithink that¡¯s also very important because what comes easy goes also easy and Idon¡¯t want that for myself. I am very happy with the fact that every projectthat I got is after I have given auditions and I have proven that I am goodfor that part.¡±
We asked if being an outsider brought him rejectionsas the industry is not fair to them, he said,¡°My journey would say otherwise, for me it¡¯s not been unfair. I am an outsider,I have done all big films and all my performances have been appreciated. I havemet some incredible people in my journey."
Lastly, we asked if he had insecurity about doing Ludoas it was an ensemble of talented actors, he agreed and said, ¡°Honestly, I did have thatnervousness that will I let down myself because it¡¯s such a big ensemble cast. But the kind of confidence Dada had in me cleared all my doubtsthat I had in my head, then I wasn¡¯t concerned if I am doing a good job or notbecause it¡¯s a big film for Dada as well and he wouldn¡¯t want to get it affected, and if I wouldn¡¯t be doing a good job, he would definitely tell me.¡±
Apart from Ludo, Rohit has done films like The Sky Is Pink and Hichki. His recently released web-series Mismatched has been garnering good reviews.
