Fans have been eagerly waiting for the release of Prithviraj Sukumaran's upcoming movie?Aadujeevitham also called The Goat Life. Directed by Blessy, the movie is?adapted from 2008 Malayalam novel Aadujeevitham by Benyamin, which is based on a true incident. The official OTT release date of the film has not been announced yet. However, just like other films, this one will also be released two months after its theatrical release (on March 28). Now, it is said that the film will likely be released on May 26 on Disney+ Hostar. However, an official announcement is awaited.

Prithviraj Sukumaran recently met real-life Najeeb and talked about the latter¡¯s life journey in detail.?
During the conversation, Prithviraj Sukumaran told Najeeb, ¡°In 2008, when Blessy first told me about doing this movie, my initial thought was, how do I approach this character? Do I come down and talk to you about who you really are, or do I try to understand the character Najeeb that Benyamin wrote or the Najeeb that Blessy has in his mind? This was the confusion I had. Finally, Blessy and I decided that I should play the Najeeb I visualize in my mind based on the novel and the Najeeb that Blessy visualized. That¡¯s the Najeeb you¡¯ll see in the movie. There is a big difference.¡±
Sharing his unending pain and torment of being trapped in the desert, Najeeb shared, ¡°I always thought that I¡¯ll never escape. There were no more Gods left for me to pray to. I prayed to every single God. Better than life there was death. Many times I used to just lie down on the sand so that some creatures would bite me and I would die. But then, when I woke up, all I thought about was my family. My wife was already 8 months pregnant when I landed there. Did she deliver a baby or not was the only thing I had in my mind.¡±

Taking to Instagram, she wrote, "What do you call a 16 year journey that¡¯s culminating tomorrow? I¡¯ve known @therealprithvi since 2006 November and been married to him since 2011. I have seen him thru many many films. But nothing like this ever before. I¡¯ve seen you thru the crazy fasting days where you¡¯ve been Hangry constantly, watch you drop weight, feel too tired and weak. When the whole world was together during covid, we were apart, talking thru patchy internet during the few precious seconds when you had enough bandwidth in the desert camp. The missed opportunities in various other languages due to this one film. Thru it all you maintained focus, this was the journey you chose to undertake for the sake of art and all that it stood for you. Along with @blessyofficial and all the others you took this journey featuring mind, body and spirit to embody the life of one man on screen. As all your efforts draw to a fruition tomorrow ( 28th March) I have only one thing to say, the dedication that you show is unparalleled and unmatched in my eyes. And I wish you all the success and love from the people at large who watch this beautiful piece of art. You always are The G.O.A.T in my eyes!"

After the trailer of the film was released, Javed Jaaferi took to X (formerly called Twitter) to praise the movie. "How amazing does this film look. And what an amazing team. Looking forward to experiencing it," he wrote.?
Why Prithviraj Sukumaran doesn't show his films to his daughter?
At one of the promotional events of?Aadujeevitham in Kochi,?Prithviraj Sukumaran revealed that his daughter hasn't watched any of his movies. He said that he has consciously made the decision to not show his movies to daughter Avantika. However, when the time is right, he will show it to her. "So, she associates the whole film with my beard because I sported it for the longest time, and she thought it was cool. So for her, this film is about the time?dadda?had the beard," he said. Explaining the reason why he doesn't want his daughter to watch his movies, he said, "When my daughter watches my film - and she is only nine - she will keep seeing her father and not the actor, unlike your children, who will see Prithviraj - the actor. So it's a different contextual scenario when a nine-year-old child will have to go and see her father on the screen doing things that he has not done before. And for that reason, I have not shown any of my films."
