As Vikram Vedha struggles to join the 100-crore club, actor Rohit Saraf, who was seen playing Hrithik Roshan's youthful brother Shatak in the recently-released film, has revealed how the actor calmed him down when he was upset after giving retakes for a scene.?
The actor spoke fondly about his expertise in working with Hrithik on the project. The action-thriller saw Hrithik Roshan playing a gangster by the name Vedha whereas Rohit played Shatak, the former's brother.?
Saif Ali Khan was seen as a cop Vikram while actress Radhika Apte played his wife Priya. Recalling an incident from the initial days of the film's shooting, Rohit mentioned he was calmed by Hrithik Roshan after he had to give many retakes for a scene and felt upset about it.?
"After we finished the scene, Hrithik sir took me aside. I thought that he's going to be really upset with me about what had happened, but he told me, 'You need to stop apologizing for not getting something right. We are all trying to make ourselves better over here on set," he added.?
Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's latest release Vikram Vedha created a huge buzz ever since its inception. Directed by Pushkar and Gayathri, the Hindi film is a remake of the Tamil movie starring R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles with the same title.?
It was released in theatres on September 30. Though it had a low start, looks like Vikram Vedha has picked up the pace at the box office. According to India Today, early estimates suggest that Hrithik and Saif's film's six-day collection has crossed Rs 50 crores at the domestic box office. However, it's far from the 100 crore mark.?
