Amid divorce rumours, here’s why Abhishek Bachchan publicly thanked Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Everyone is aware by now that there have been long-running rumors that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have split up. Abhishek, who most recently starred in the film I Want To Talk, has given Aishwarya a lot of praise amid the film's hype and ongoing divorce rumors. He also regarded himself as fortunate to be able to go out in the world and make movies.?

In an interview with The Hindu, the actor thanked Aishwarya for taking care of their daughter Aaradhya while he has been out for work.

He was quoted saying, “Even in my household, I'm very lucky I get to go out and make the movies. But I know that Aishwarya is at home with Aaradhya, and I thank her immensely for that. But I don't think the children think of it that way. They don't look upon you in third person. They look upon you in the first – you're the parent, the father or the mother.”

He also mentioned that he didn't feel his parents weren't there when he was a kid. His mother, Jaya Bachchan, had stepped back from acting following his birth, while his father, Amitabh Bachchan, was at the height of his career in the 1970s.?

Actor Amitabh Bachchan finally saw his son's film, I Want To Talk, a few days after it was released. Amitabh talked about Abhishek Bachchan and the movie's emotional impact on his blog.

?While praising his son’s work and also the film a part in his blog read, “Some films invite you to be entertained .. some films invite you to BE the film.”
