Actor Manjot Singh-who played one of the cousins of Ranvijay (Ranbir Kapoor) in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal and sang the popular song Arjan Vailly while the lead character took revenge by killing those who tried to kill his father Balbir (Anil Kapoor)-saved a girl from dying by suicide in the real. The video from 2019 has gone viral on social media once again. Now fans are calling him 'Real 'Animal' saving human" and proclaiming "Singh is King".
The incident took place when Singh was in college. He was a BTech student at Sharda University of Greater Noida. It was during his college days that the actor saved the life of an 18-year-old girl, who threatened the second-floor terrace of the college.
At that time, he narrated what happened to Hindustan Times and said, "I initiated a conversation, asking if she faced any trouble or if there was a disagreement. She mentioned a disagreement with her mother. I cautiously moved closer to her. However, as soon as I approached, she jumped."
As the video went viral, he recalled the time and wrote about it on Instagram. "This happened in 2019 a girl was committing SUICIDE and by the grace of god I was able to save her I was in the right place at the right time. We all face problems and hardships "Sometimes even to live is an act of courage,"? he shared.
"If there¡¯s a film in which a man asks a woman to lick his shoe, if a man says it¡¯s okay to slap a woman¡and the film is a super hit, that¡¯s dangerous," he said referring to a scene in the movie between Ranbir and Triptii Dimrii¡¯s characters.Furthermore, he also called Choli Ke Peeche problematic. "People wonder why songs are so problematic today. Take Choli Ke Peeche for example, the issue isn¡¯t the seven men and the two women involved in the song's making. They¡¯re hardly the problem," he said and added at Ajanta Ellora International Film Festival in Aurangabad, "The problem is that the audience made this song a massive hit. Crores of people liked the song, that¡¯s scary."
