Anupam Kher is happy with Zaira WasimĄ¯s decision to quit Bollywood. When the 18-years-old actress announced the same on Sunday, it kick-started a debate among people. While some supported her saying it was her choice, others werenĄ¯t happy with her choice to naming religion as a cause for withdrawal.

Anupam Kher who earlier said that Ą°if she has taken this decision in the name of religion then maybe this is not her decision, maybe she is forced to take that decisionĄą now says her exit must have demoralised the youngsters in Kashmir.
"I hope she had continued. She was a hope for so many youngsters in Kashmir. On one hand we celebrate the inclusion of a Kashmiri boy in our cricket team, and another judo player, and on the other hand, here, Zaira must have demoralised so many other people," Kher told News 18 adding that itĄ¯s her life and he wishes all the luck to her.

"I was saddened because a young girl crushed her dreams of becoming (an actor). God gave her such an amazing platform. Amir Khan gave such an amazing actor. I looked at it from an actor's point of view. I run a (acting) school, so many people come with a dream of becoming something and she actually got a platform," he had earlier told ANI.
