Veteran actress Madhavi Gogate, who played Rupali Ganguly's mother in the popular television show 'Anupamaa', has reportedly died of COVID-19 complications on Sunday.?
58-year-old Gogate had tested positive a few days ago before succumbing to COVID-19 complications.?
Gogate¡¯s former co-star Rupali Ganguly shared a post on her social media account and wrote,
¡°So much left unsaid. Sadgati Madhaviji."?
Rupali also re-shared some of her stills with Gogate from Anupamaa, shared online by fan accounts.?
Famous TV and film actress Nilu Kohli also mourned the demise of Gogate. Sharing her photograph, she wrote:?
¡°Madhavi Gogate, my dear friend nooooo. I can¡¯t get down to believing that you have left us. Heartbroken @gogatemadhavi, you were too young to go. Damn Covid. I wish I had picked up that damn phone and spoken to you when you did not reply to my msg. All I can do is regret now (sic)."?
"Madhaviji, this is not done..actor can not take the exit before the scene gets over...we will miss you on Anupamaa set...your cute smile.. sweet voice...n humour...we will all miss you (sic)."?
Madhavi has done notable work in films and TV shows. She rose to fame and popularity after she starred in Marathi film Ghanchakkar opposite Ashok Saraf.
Madhavi also starred in plays, including Bhramacha Bhopala, Gela Madhav Kunikade.Madhavi, who has been in the Television circuit for over a decade now, is also known for her roles in shows like Koi Apna Sa, Aisa Kabhi Socha Na Tha, Kahin Toh Hoga, among others.?
Recently, Madhavi was replaced by Savita Prabhune on the show.
