Fans across the world eagerly await Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman¡¯s concert. In an unfortunate turn of events, his recent concert turned into a nightmare. Several visitors have taken to Twitter and shared the miserable experience they faced.
Sharing a video, Film trade analyst Manobala wrote, ¡°Disappointed #ARRahman fan tore #MarakkumaNenjam concert tickets and says this is indeed an unforgettable event and the worst gift from A R Rahman to the people.¡±
Another upset fan wrote, ¡°Very badly organised concert. Waste of money. Energy. Felt a huge sense of betrayal. I was feeling so stressed than good vibes because of so many fights and shit that was going around! Unfair max was No proper sound! #actcevents #MarakkumaNenjam #ARRConcert @arrahman.¡±
Third said, ¡°Paid 15k for this shit view. Almost died in the stampede. People were overflowing from every f****ng corner. No chairs for anyone. No audio for anyone. Well, orchestrated shitshow @arrahman. Never ever attending your concert. Ever.¡±
The fourth fan in his complaint tweeted, ¡°It was worst concert ever in the History #ARRahman #Scam2023 by #ACTC. Respect Humanity. 30 Years of the Fan in me died today Mr. #ARRAHMAN. #MarakkumaNenjam Marakkavey Mudiyathu (can't forget). A performer on the stage can never see what¡¯s happening in other areas just watch it.¡±
Even for people who bought the best seats, things were equally taxing. One user shared, ¡°I am Devastated. AR Rahman is literally the only artist I look up to. He's everything to me. I love him with all my heart. But, I got trampled and had a full-blown anxiety attack and a breakdown even though I bought Gold tickets. I cannot begin to imagine what others went through.¡±
One user wrote, ¡°This is how the so-called volunteers behaved in the Gold class area. @actcevents is this how you treat the "Guests"? @arrahman how could you act like nothing happened on stage? There were shouts about "Volume" & "ACTC DOWN" throughout.¡±
AR Rahman¡¯s team on the other hand had a positive take on the concert. ACTC Events tweeted on Monday, ¡°Grateful to Chennai and the legendary @arrahman Sir! The incredible response and the overwhelming crowd made our show a massive success. Those who couldn't attend due to overcrowding, Our sincere apologies. We take full responsibility and are accountable. We are with you. #MarakkumaNenjam.¡±
