During the first lockdown of the coronavirus pandemic, we all reminiscences old times as we rewatched the classic and epic shows like Ramayan and Mahabharat on TV along with our entire families.
Those characters and actors are still etched in our hearts. Remember?Arvind Trivedi, the actor who essayed the role of Ravan in Ramayan? In April last year, he had gotten emotional seeing himself on TV as Raavan.?He is no more.
At the age of 82, Trivedi breathed his last on the night of Oct 4.?
"He was not keeping well for quite some time, but today he suffered a heart attack and that led to multi-organ failure."
Apart from Ramayan, Arvind Trivedi was a part of 300 films. He was also seen in Vikram Aur Betaal.
Trivedi's granddaughter had told Mirror online that he was working on a play with Paresh Rawal when he was offered a role in Raavan. "When Ramanand Sagar told him that he will be playing Ravan. Nana earlier rejected it because he was committed to the play. But then, it was Paresh Rawal Ji himself who convinced Nana that it was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and that he should not give it a miss. He convinced and motivated him to take up the role and only then did he agree to do it."
