Ahead of the Bigg Boss 17 finale, actress?Shraddha Das' shocking revelation about finalist Mannara Chopra has resurfaced. As per Das, the actress who is currently on the Salman Khan-hosted show hit her not once or twice but multiple times. The incident happened on the sets of Vivek Agnihotri's 2014 movie Zid.
About a decade ago when the film was released, Shraddha who predominantly works in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Bengali, and Kannada movies revealed what happened while they were filming for a scene. She said that Mannara was required to push her on the stairs for the scene. "The action director had informed her to push me lightly, but she didn¡¯t. When I fell hard on the stairs, I got up and told her to take it a bit easy," she said.
Shraddha said that when this happened she didn't react at all thinking Mannara was new to the industry and perhaps didn't know how lightly she was supposed to push. The Bigg Boss 17 contestant reaffirmed she would be soft, but then she got aggressive again, "and started hitting me hard. I tried to stop her, but she wouldn¡¯t, and I, too, in the flow, kept on shooting and defending myself till the time the director shouted cut."
For another scene, Shraddha Das and Mannara Chopra had to fight with sticks. While they were supposed to shoot with rubber and thermocol sticks, Mannara instead picked up a real bamboo stick and ended up hitting her "above the right eye", said Shraddha revealing she was screaming when that happened and had to be taken to the hospital.?
She returned to the sets the next day with a swollen eye. In that day's scene, Mannara had to hit her lightly on the chest. "Mannara just went crazy and kicked me so hard right below the chest. That too she was wearing heels. You can imagine how much it hurt me. At the end of the fight sequences I was left with more than 30 blood clots on my body," she told Bollywood Life in a 2014 interview.
