Meet Bosco Martis and Caesar Gonsalves, the choreographers behind?Vicky Kaushal's?Tauba Tauba dance step

One of the popular Indian choreographer duo have worked together on more than 200 songs and over 75 movies. Together, they also run Bosco Caesar Dance Company in Brampton (Canada), Scarborough (Canada), Mumbai, Phoolbagan, and Kolkata.

Bosco and Caesar were schoolmates who went to?St. Josephs in Juhu and also played football together. That's how their journey of collaboration began.? It is said that Bosco was intrigued by Caesar's dancing performances. So much so, that he also started practicing on his own to up his game.

Professionally, their journey began by assisting?choreographers LOLLYPOP and Farah Khan. In 1994, they officially started working as choreographers. From stage shows to TV commercials and music videos, they did all kinds of work before making their movie debut with Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Mission Kashmir in 2000.

In 2016, they parted ways but ensured that the brand remained intact. While Bosco then made his directorial debut titled Rocket Gang and Caesar was working on organising dance workshops. In 2019, they reunited for?Chhichhore.

When Bosco shared concern over choreographers not getting credits

In a lengthy post on Instagram, the ace choreographer called out Bollywood filmmakers for not giving them due credit and wrote, "My oath to the future of choreographers. It’s been 22years we been doing choreography and still find it a struggle to put our names on any promotional material of movies. Where the song and dance are celebrated by the nation and also world wide . I have shared so many reels of aspiring dancers and the ones who love to dance on our songs we have choreographed . But sometimes it’s so sad to say that nobody knows who has choreographed the song till we don’t push our names. Off late we felt the heat when we could not see our names promotional material of the song where in the music director is mentioned and not the choreographer . I guess it’s high time the choreographers should be celebrated . When the Music Directors , Lyricst , Singer or the Writer is celebrated then why not the Choreographer who makes the actors and the nation Dance . It’s heartbreaking! . Hoping there will be corrections made for the future of Choreographers and their names will be mentioned on all promotional platforms specially on posters, radio or another promotional material in relation to the song choreographed .Hope the choreographers wake up to this and definitely fight for the rights . Long live dancing and entertainment."
