Ranbir Kapoor has found himself in hot soup. The Bollywood actor who is basking in the glory of his recent release Animal has been accused of hurting religious sentiments by pouring alcohol on a cake and setting it on fire while chanting 'Jai Mata Di' in the viral video from Christmas celebrations with the Kapoors.

As per Tiwari, the video hurts Hindu sentiments. In his complaint, he stated that in Hinduism, the?fire god is invoked before invoking other deities, but Ranbir Kapoor and his family members used intoxicants while celebrating the festival of another religion and chanted, Jai Mata Di.
He said that chanting Jai Mata Di after setting the cake on fire with alcohol hurts his sentiments.
