If anyone tells you not have big dreams, just remember with hard work and dedication they will come true. Nothing is impossible. Daughter of an?auto-rickshaw driver Manya Singh proved just the same by winning the title of Miss India 2020 runner up.
While her father always stood by her side, her uncle and other family members warned her against her decision to enter the world of showbiz. She said she was aware she won't be able to afford grooming classes, yet she accomplished her dreams.?
How did Manya Singh achieve this? She said she would observe people, their body language and personality. That is how she learnt how to carry herself like a model.?
"Modelling was never an option for me. I entered the fashion world because I wanted to groom myself. At the same time, I was well aware that I would not be able to afford the grooming classes. Learning happened by observing people and going for auditions. I knew that if I could work on my body language and personality and carry myself like models do, the Miss India pageant could be cracked," she was quoted as saying by News18.com.
Singh was sure she would never walk the ramp again because modelling was never her plan B.?
"I always had confidence and belief in my hard work. At the time of the finale, I said to myself ¡®you have to perform whole-heartedly and leave the rest to the judges¡¯. When I went on the ramp, I knew it was going to be the last runway, the last show of my life. And I performed keeping that in mind," she said.
Manya Singh is proud of her roots!
