Deepika Padukone-Vikrant Massey Share Pics From Their Reading Session For Chapaak With Gulzar

After a short sabbatical from work for personal reasons, Deepika Padukone is returning to films and with a very important story! Deepika Padukone's next, which she will also be producing is a film on the courageous tale of an acid attack victim.?

During a recent media interaction, Padukone revealed details of her upcoming project. She siad,

“It's so ironic that on the day of Holi, I am off to Delhi for the shooting of 'Chapaak'. We will start shooting it on Monday. It's a very important film and I feel that the story which we are showcasing in our film needs to be told"

Also starring Vikrant Massey in the leading role, the film will be directed by Meghna Gulzar. Just a day before, Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey shared pictures from their full-house script reading session. Apart from Meghna Gulzar, the session also had veteran writer, filmmaker and her father Gulzar.
