The trailer for a Netflix series based on real-life events, Sector 36, is finally out. Starring actor Vikrant Massey, the show is inspired by the 2006 serial murders that took place at the house of businessman Moninder Singh Pandher in Noida's Sector 31 near Nithari village of India's Uttar Pradesh state. The film is basically inspired by the horrific Nithari killings that took place in Noida. The moment the serial killings of children were noticed, it sent shockwaves through the whole country. The real-life suspects involved Moninder Singh Pandher and his staff member, Surinder Koli. The suspects were given a death sentence, but last year they got cleared of the charges as there was a lack of evidence.?
Two Nithari villagers complained of not knowing the location of the children who were missing from two ters. The location was a water tank behind house number D5 in Noida Sector 31. Upon investigation, housekeeper Surinder Koli confessed to killing six children and a woman after sexually assaulting them.?

The Allahabad High Court has acquitted Surendra Koli in the 2006 serial killings. Even the owner of D-5 house, Moninder Singh, has also been acquitted, as there was a lack of proof in the cases against him.?
