Television actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee recently left people surprised with her wedding pictures on social media lately. Unfortunately, Devoleena got massively trolled for getting married to a Muslim man, Shahnawaz Sheikh.?
A section of people on social media termed the actress' marriage with Shahnawaz Sheikh ¡®love jihad.¡¯ Some stooped so low that they even told her to 'rest in the fridge' as they compared Devoleena and Shahnawaz's relationship to Aftab Poonawala and his murdered girlfriend Shraddha Walkar.
Some also went on to mention the religion of her future children with Shahnawaz.?
Responding to such derogatory comments, Devoleena tweeted, "Whether my babies will be hindu or muslims aap kaun ? Aur itni jab apko baccho ko lekar chinta ho hi rahi hai bohot saare anaath ashrams hai, jaaiye adopt kijiye aur apne hisaab se dharm or naam decide kijiye. Mera pati, mera baccha , mera dharm , mere rules. Aap kaun ? #toxic"?
Another said, "Hindu ps brahmin, madam thoda to control krti, itni bhi kya aashiqui sawar thi jo sab bech khayi."?
Many more people criticized her union with the Muslim guy, but, some even came out in support of the actress after her response to trolls.?
Another asked Devoleena to ignore those people and said, "Inki soch nhi badlne wali ..So enjoy your life the way you want with whom you want. Lots of love to you and Jiju."
The couple first?met at her gym near Devoleena's house and they fell in love after Shahnawaz helped Devoleena with physiotherapy after she met with an accident on the sets of her show, according to DNA.
