Elvish Yadav who was briefly detained in Kota, taken for questioning and thereafter released has vowed to file a defamation case against Indian politician and member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)?Maneka Gandhi.?
"I was accused by Maneka Gandhi ji and she called me the head of the snake supplier. I will file a defamation case against her. I will not spare her. Now, I am active in all these things. Earlier, I used to think that I didn¡¯t want to waste my time but now my image is being affected," he was quoted as saying in a video.
The YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 winner has been accused of supplying snake venom to rave parties in Noida. In the video, he added that he has zero involvemet in the case.?
"Those who are watching please don¡¯t judge me on this basis of this. Please wait. When the Police investigation starts I will share the main video as well. I will show you everything. I am saying this with a lot of confidence. A press statement will also be released that Elvish Yadav had zero involvement in this case. Please watch that and share that also," he said.
"PFA laid a trap to arrest these suspects. We found out that they sell snake venom. This is a grade 1 crime. There are very few cobras and pythons in the country. It is a crime to own them, catch them or use them," she said.
Talking about how they laid the trap, she said, "We told him that we were partying, send your people. He first sent a few people to see if it was genuine and then sent 5 people to make a deal with the snake venom and snakes. He supplies in Gurgram and Noida."
As per the Police, nine snakes including five cobras, one python, two sand snakes and one rat snake along with a small 20ml tube of suspected snake venom were recovered from a banquet hall in Noida.
