The granddaughter of megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, Navya Naveli Nanda recently made her big debut at Paris Fashion Week. At the event which was graced by the who¡¯s who of the entertainment industry across the globe, Navya¡¯s mother Shweta Bachchan and grandmother Jaya were seen cheering for their little girl.
In one of the videos shared by Shweta, Navya was seen walking on the stage. Naveli opted for an off-shoulder red dress and silver heels. Smiling brightly throughout, Navya even waved at her mother and grandma and posed confidently for the audience. Shweta captioned the clip, "Little Miss L¡¯Or¨¦al."
She expressed, "All roads led to Paris this weekend. Well, at least for my mother and me. As Navya spent all her days doing L¡¯Or¨¦al things. My mother and I walked and ate (more eating than roaming, to be honest). The show was an experience and so emotional - my mother and I both admitted to holding back tears as our little girl walked on all smiles!!!¡±
¡°I remember her first steps. She was just a few days past her 1st birthday - like yesterday, all parents say this I¡¯m sure, it¡¯s cheesy and annoying, but so true."
She concluded, "She wore red, the Eiffel Tower turned pink, and we went home very proud, very emotional, and very hungry. I snuck in some M&M¡¯s in my bag, though it¡¯s blasphemous to eat chocolate at a fashion show, we did - because we¡¯re worth it," concluded Shweta. Reacting to the post, Navya commented, "You both gave me the strength I needed."
Navya is the daughter of Shweta and Nikhil Nanda, who is the chairman and managing director of Escorts Limited. Naveli also has a brother named Agastya Nanda who will soon make his acting debut with Zoya Akhtar's The Archies. Navya is an entrepreneur by profession and runs a women-centric health tech company named Aara Health.
She is also the founder of Project Naveli which is an initiative to fight the issue of gender inequality in India. Through her social handles, she often talks about her work and interests. Navya also launched her podcast show What the Hell Navya which was joined by her mother and grandmother over conversations concerning women.
