Bollywood star kids are often trolled for choosing the same career as their parents. However, Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter Navya Nanda who has previously said that she has no interest in acting and is already an entrepreneur chose to study at the prestigious college?IIM Ahmedabad. When she got her admission, she announced the same on her Instagram handle. What happened next was unexpected. People started to troll her.?While some said this isn't a real MBA course, others questioned if she got admission because of "influence and money". Now IIM Ahmedabad professor has come out in support of the star kid and defended her.?
Quoting one of the tweets in which a user questioned if she got a 99.9 percentile, IIM Professor Promila Agarwal made it clear that she had a "solid CV".?In another tweet, she clarified? that a Blended Post Graduate Programme (BPGP) doesn't necessarily require a CAT score. The selection can also be done on the basis of IIMA Admission Test (IAT). Agarwal made it clear that Navya Nanda "cleared the cut off."??
Previously, Navya Nanda had herself revealed that she cracked the entrace exam and thus got admission. Shutting down the trolls, she took to Instagram to write, "Thank you to @mba_ims for coaching me for the entrance exams. This is Prasad Sir, who played the biggest hand in coaching & preparing me to crack the CAT/IAT entrance exams. One of the BEST teachers I have ever had the honour of learning from. Us celebrating at the @mba_ims office the day I received my acceptance."
