The first teaser revealing the impressive first look of Rishab Shetty is out. It is giving fans all the chills and rightly so. After a long wait, we are getting close to witness the magic Kantara again.?
The first teaser of Kantara A Legend Chapter-1 is?giving fans a celestial cinematic experience. In the beginning of the clip, he asks audiences if they can see the light that helps them look into past as well as future, and then, he transforms into a completely different avatar. "Rishab Shetty is turning out to be the real Dark horse of the Kannada Industry.?Real Quality visuals, Quality sound, and Quality content," a fan commented. "Look and background music are crazy," said another one.
The film is a prequel to the original 2022 movie.?
Kantara 2 will explore the backstory of the deity, how the legend took birth and how the?troubled king made a pact with him to protect the villagers.
Vijay Kiragandur had earlier?told Deadline, "Rishab is writing the story now and has gone to the forests of coastal Karnataka with his writing associates for two months to conduct research for the film. He plans to start shooting in June, as a portion of the shoot requires the rainy season, and our intention is to give the film a pan-India release in April or May next year.¡±
The teaser had seven different ragas of music. Apparently, each one is representing the seven languages in which the movie will be released.? ??
Rishab Shetty aka Shiva will be seen in a completly new look in Kantara prequel with long hair and a ripped body. In the teaser, he had a trishool in his hand as well.?
The movie is reportedly being made on a budget of?Rs 150 crores.
The teaser said "During the reign of Kadambas". So, Kantara 2 will likely be set in 300 CE. For the uninitiated, Kadambas were a royal family from Karnataka that existed in 345-540 CE. It is said that they emerged from Lord Shiva.
The shooting of Kantara prequel will begin in next month, and the film will likely be released in 2024.
